Position: Legal Secretary – Private Client / Conveyancing
Salary: Competitive, DOE

Pertemps are delighted to be working with a well-established law firm looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their friendly and supportive team. If you’re an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Private Client or Conveyancing—or looking to step into this area with solid legal admin experience—we’d love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy legal environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of administrative support.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing essential administrative and secretarial support to fee earners
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, reports, and correspondence
Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
Handling incoming calls, emails, and post with professionalism and efficiency
Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems (digital and paper)
Ensuring all documentation is handled confidentially and in line with legal procedures

What we’re looking for:

Experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a legal administrative role
Ideally some exposure to Private Client or Conveyancing work
Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
Strong written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
