They are recruiting for a qualified and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Asessor, who can hit the ground running and will bring a wealth of existing hands-on experience. You will be expected to be self-suffient on site and comfortable liaising with clients directly, in addition to managing your own workload. Our client is able to offer great opportunities for cross-training into other compliance fields, in addition to competitive salaries and benefits packages. Locations of work include: Oxford, Bicester, Didcot, Witney, Thatcham, Wantage, Reading, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Tadley, Woking, Weybridge, Watford, Southall, Harrow, Wembley, Twickenham, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Chesham, Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Harpenden, Luton. Experience / Qualifications: -Strong track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor -Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing -Robust industry knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines -Will ideally have experience working in line with HTM 0301 guidelines -Excellent communication skills -Good literacy and numeracy skill level -Proficient in using IT software The Role: -Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems and Cooling Towers -Producing detailed risk assessment reports to highlight any found risks -Making appropriate recommendations for remedial works -Being a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical or logistical queries -Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring -Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets -Maintaining high levels of service standards -Travelling in line with company needs Alternative job titles: Legionella Consultant, Water Hygiene Technician, Water Hygiene Risk Assessor, Water Hygiene Consultant, Environmental Consultant.
