Job Description - Lettings Assistant

Lettings Assistant – £26,000 per annum
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Urgent Requirement – CV Shortlist by COB Tuesday / Early Wednesday

Pertemps is urgently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Lettings Assistant to join their busy and dynamic property team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in lettings or property management, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating property maintenance issues
Processing rent increases and chasing rent arrears
Reviewing and actioning property inspection reports
Sourcing and liaising with new contractors
Managing and tracking keys for contractor use
Handling deposit refunds and dispute resolution
Preparing and issuing tenancy notices, including Section 21
Responding to phone calls and general tenant/landlord enquiries

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in lettings or property management
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in relevant property management systems is advantageous
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £26,000.
