Lettings Consultant

Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with a family run business who are looking for a Lettings Consultant to join their ever growing team to work a long side them at their headquarters in Derby on a full time, permanent basis.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45am-5:30pm & 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am-12pm

Salary: £24,000 - £27,00 DOE - PLUS Quarterly Bonus

Candidate MUST have a full driving license and own vehicle.

What will you be doing in the Lettings Consultant role:

* Process income rental enquiries
* Arrange viewings with potential tenants
* Follow up viewings and feedback to landlords
* Ensure all details are up to date for vacant properties
* Deal with all incoming communications effectively (internal and external)
* Deal with customer enquiries effectively
* Ensure focus on own development
* Resolve complaints within own authority level
* Escalate queries outside of own authority level
* Maintain compliance with industry and internal regulations
* Attention to all Health & Safety issues, including hazard and accident reporting
* Set up tenancy files in accordance with our procedures and processes
* Process tenancy files in accordance with our procedures and processes
* Preparation of all legal documents including Tenancy Agreements
* Manage diary appointments efficiently
* Arrange access to properties as required
* Complete internal checklists accurately and fully

Previous experience and requirements:

* 2 Years industry experience is preferred.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.

* Problem solver, including complaints and negotiations.
* Adaptable and a good team player
* Be an effective communicator within a team.
* Be able to give feedback in a constructive manner.
* Great relationship builder
* Excellent administration skills
* Display high standards of service, care and presentation.
* High attention to detail
