Job Description - Lettings Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Manager for our Estate Agency client based in Langley, Slough.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Lettings Manager, and ideally ARLA qualified, but will be supported with gaining this.

Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car.

Benefits and salary package for the role of Lettings Manager:

  • Basic £28,000 - £30,000
  • OTE £50,000 - £53,000
  • £2,000 Yearly bonus based on targets being met
  • £3,600 Car allowance
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am - 4pm

Responsibilities for the role of Lettings Manager:

  • Client relationship management
  • Departmental organisation
  • Performance management
  • Generating new business
  • Seek out new business opportunities
  • Provide valuable feedback to clients
  • Supporting the team as required with training and development
  • Ability to identify appropriate properties for clients and vice/versa
  • Good working knowledge of inventory
  • Speaking with potential tenants and building relationships
  • Provide advice and turn initial enquiries into actual business

Key Skills for the role of Lettings Manager:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Lettings Manager
  • Ideally ARLA qualified but can be supported with gaining this.
  • Highly organised and results driven
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team and independently
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • The ability to manage inspire and train a team to help achieve the office targets
  • Effective and efficient time management skills
  • Passionate about helping others and delivering solutions
  • Confident communicator, listener and leader
  • Listing experience with local knowledge
  • Well-presented and articulate
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Enjoys dealing with customers face to face as well as over the phone
  • Natural selling ability
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car
