Lettings Manager

Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a fast growing, nationwide student lettings agency, who are looking to recruit a Lettings Manager to join their expanding team. Our client specialises in student accommodation and is committed to delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants, with a strong focus on professional development, progression and maintaining high standards.

Role Overview:

As Lettings Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day lettings operations, supporting the Branch Manager in leading the team, driving performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day lettings operations, ensuring a smooth process from enquiry through to completion.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.


• Manage enquiries, applicant registrations, property advertising, viewings and offer negotiations.


• Ensure excellent customer service across telephone, email, live chat and WhatsApp.


• Monitor team performance, manage KPIs and provide weekly reports to the Branch Manager.


• Support the recruitment, training and management of the lettings team.


• Oversee diary management and coordinate daily lettings activities.


• Maintain compliance with lettings legislation, including Right to Rent checks and HMO licensing requirements.


• Advise landlords on lettings regulations and local rental market conditions.


• Identify new business opportunities through networking and proactive engagement.


• Coordinate marketing activities and events alongside the Marketing Manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience within residential or student lettings is preferred.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Confident managing team performance and working towards targets.


• Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.


• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.


• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.


• Full UK driving licence required, with access to a personal vehicle preferred.

Package and Benefits:

• Salary From £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus commission and bonus scheme.


• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, plus 26 Saturdays per year, 10:00am – 3:00pm.
