Level 2 nursery Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their early development. As a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive and enriching environment for our little learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
Support the daily routines of children, including meal times, nap times, and toileting.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the team and parents.
Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A nurturing and patient demeanor.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of child development and early years education principles.
First Aid certification is desirable.
