Salary: Up to £25,750

Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client, a highly regarded nursery in Winchester, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about providing outstanding care and education for young children in a supportive, creative environment.

Working as part of a dynamic team, the Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and supporting the development and wellbeing of each child in their care.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

• Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding training (preferred)

• Deliver high-quality care and engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

• Support the emotional, physical, and social development of each child

• Work in partnership with parents, carers, and colleagues

• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment

• Contribute to planning, observations, and record-keeping in line with EYFS standards

• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing across the nursery
