Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEN and/or behavioural needs?

Academics are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Grappenhall, Warrington, who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with behavioural needs, alongside supporting the wider classroom.

The Role

Provide consistent, positive 1:1 support to a pupil with behavioural needs.
Help the pupil engage positively with learning and the wider school environment.
Support with managing behaviour and promoting positive relationships.
Provide general classroom support alongside the 1:1 responsibilities.
Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
Help create a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of the pupil.The Ideal Candidate

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - essential.
Previous experience working with children with SEN and/or behavioural needs - preferred.
Patient, calm and confident when managing challenging situations.
Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
Reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Holds a valid DBS (or is willing to obtain one).
