Vision for Education are currently looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a well regarded Primary school in Huntingdon.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full time)

Huntingdon

£93 to £100 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

This role will begin in September 2026.

The School and Role

We are looking for a commited and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive staff team.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and purposeful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to teachers
Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment
Promote inclusion and support the emotional and social development of pupils
Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required
Requirements:

The desired Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Full DBS clearance
2 recent references to support your employment with children 
A full UK driving licence and access to a car
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
