Aspire People are looking for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support schools across South Wales.

We're looking to speak with qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children and young people and are looking for their next education opportunity.

📚 The Role

Depending on the school and setting, you may be responsible for:

Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Supporting pupils with their learning, development and confidence
Providing additional support to pupils with ALN/SEN
Supporting positive behaviour and engagement
Helping pupils develop independence and social skills
Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
Working closely with teachers and other school staff
Following safeguarding and school policies
✅ We're Looking For
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working with children or young people
Previous school experience is desirable
Experience supporting pupils with ALN/SEN is beneficial
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, reliable and adaptable approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
EWC registration or willingness to obtain
Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
