I am working with a stimulating and supportive academy located in Swindon, looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join the team. Core areas of learning here are based on development of personal, social and emotional development. In Early Years development, teachers push the development of language skills and social skills. There are continuous play and learning sessions and the teachers help to provide a language rich environment through a variety of reading activities.

This role is permanent and the start date is September. The opportunity is for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner you will be competent with childcare and will be able to independently work with children in the nursery. You will play a crucial role in their development and preparing them for the integration into school.

Responsibilities - 

• Planning and delivery of age appropriate activities, promoting children’s learning
• Observing and assessing personal development of students
• Communication with parents
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for children
• Implementing early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Collaborate with other teachers and colleagues

Requirements - 

• Level 3 NVQ
• Communication skills, verbal and written, to effectively interact with children,parents and colleagues.
• Safeguarding knowledge.
• Effective knowledge of the curriculum to effectively plan and deliver engaging material
• Supportive nature to help children feel secure and safe.
