Job Description - Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

We are looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September.
As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you will be based within the 2-year-olds provision, supporting young children as they begin their learning journey. You will play a key role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes children's development across all areas of learning.You will be responsible for a group of 8 key children, monitoring their progress and ensuring they receive the support they need to reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting children aged 2 years old with their learning and development
Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS Framework
Acting as a key worker for 8 children
Monitoring, assessing and recording children's progress and achievements
Writing observations, reports and learning journeys
Supporting children's communication, language and social development
Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Working closely with colleagues and parents to support children's individual needs
Encouraging children to develop confidence, independence and positive relationshipsWhat You'll Need to Succeed:

Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Experience working within an Early Years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
Experience completing observations and tracking children's progress
Strong communication and organisational skills
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat You'll Get in Return:
