Level 3 Early Years Professional

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 qualified Early Years Professional to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Barnstaple. As an Early Years Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years old.

As an Early Years Professional, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of activities that encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. You will work closely with a team of dedicated practitioners to provide a rich and engaging learning environment for children.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and assess children's progress, keeping records and providing feedback to parents.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Contribute to the overall planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the nursery.

Requirements

• Hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years (minimum Level 3).
• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Experience working in an early years setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children.
• Valid DBS check.
