Our agency is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes, seeking a confident and compassionate Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner passionate about supporting children during the crucial early stages of their education.
About the Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s early development and fostering a positive, stimulating learning environment. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver high-quality Early Years provision.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of a creative and purposeful EYFS curriculum Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development Provide nurturing support that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence Assist in monitoring and recording children’s progress Organise resources and maintain an inviting, safe classroom environment Build constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers Implement positive behaviour management strategies appropriate to Early Years settings Candidate Profile
Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent) Experience working within an Early Years environment Strong understanding of early child development and the EYFS framework Excellent communication skills with a patient, supportive manner Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Confidence in applying behaviour strategies that support emotional and social development Requirements
