Location: Fishguard
Weekly PAYE - £85.50 - £90 p/d

TeacherActive is currently recruiting Level 3 Inclusion Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Fishguard. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, resilient, and adaptable education professionals looking to make a genuine difference within an inclusive school environment.

The Role

Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support for pupils
Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across the curriculum
Work alongside teachers to adapt learning and encourage pupil engagement
Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence
Assist with interventions and personalised learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and help pupils overcome barriers to learning
Work closely with teaching staff and the wider inclusion/ALN team
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

Requirements

✅ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Education, or a relevant subject
✅ Previous experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting
✅ Experience working with pupils with ALN is highly desirable
✅ Strong understanding of inclusive education and individualised support
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
