£26,000 - £28,000 + Benefits
Full Time - 38 hrs a week

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a well-established Nursery Group who are looking for a Level 3 Practitioner for their service in Edinburgh. This is a full-time position, which does require flexibility across the week to meet the needs of the company. As a Level 3 practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care, education, and support to children in a nursery setting. You will work collaboratively with other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children.

Your day to day responsibilities will be

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences that support children's learning and development across all areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.
Conduct ongoing observations and assessments of children's progress and development.
Use assessment information to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and individual learning goals for each child, and communicate progress to parents/guardians.
Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
Work closely with parents/guardians to share information, discuss children's progress, and involve them in their child's learning journey.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Stay updated on relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in early years education and childcare.
Work collaboratively with other practitioners and members of the nursery team to maintain a cohesive and effective working environment.
Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas and feedback, and support colleagues as needed.

Location

This position is based in Edinburgh and is commutable from Bughtlin, Barnton, Cramond and surrounding areas.
