Shift Times: 10:00-14:00

Our client is seeking a Qualified Lunch Cover to join their nursery team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during the lunch period.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 in Early Years or an equivalent qualification

• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or in a similar childcare role

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in an early years setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and supportive approach

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

• Engage children in age-appropriate, stimulating activities to encourage social interaction and development

• Assist with serving meals, promoting healthy eating habits, and supporting children with feeding where necessary

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized lunch area in line with health and safety standards

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure a seamless experience for the children
