Seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistant's with strong behaviour management skills!

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking Level 3 qualified special needs teaching assistants who have significant experience supporting students with complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties (SLD, PMLD), associated communication and language difficulties and challenging behaviours.

We are also looking for those with experience supporting students aged 11-19years with a wide range of needs including physical disabilities, autism, sensory impairment and complex medical needs.

? Your Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEN and behavioural needs

Implement tailored strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour

Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for learners

Promote emotional regulation, independence and confidence in pupils

Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

? You Will Need:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification

Experience working with children or young people with SEN and challenging behaviour in a special school setting

Strong, confident behaviour management and de-escalation skills

A calm, patient and consistent approach

A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential

Team Teach or other behaviour management training (preferred)
