Position Overview

Fasanara is expanding its CLO platform and seeking an experienced individual to support investment selection and ongoing credit monitoring across leveraged loans and high-yield bonds. Reporting directly to a seasoned CLO Portfolio Manager in a flat, entrepreneurial environment, the individual will take ownership of sector coverage from day one, shape analytical processes, and contribute to the build-out of a scalable, best-in-class CLO platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent fundamental analysis of leveraged loans and high-yield credits, producing high-quality materials for investment committee review.
• Build and maintain detailed LBO and financial models to assess investment opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and proactively flag underperformance or emerging risks.
• Review and interpret legal documentation for loans and bonds.
• Present investment recommendations clearly to portfolio managers and IC members.
• Maintain strong relationships with market participants to stay informed on industry trends.
• Support CLO portfolio management tasks as needed.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, high-yield credit, or a related credit analyst role within a financial institution or investment firm.
• Strong credit analysis capabilities and advanced financial modelling skills, including LBO modelling.
• Experience reviewing legal documentation for credit instruments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, flat-structured environment.
• Prior CLO credit analyst experience is a plus.
