Leveraged Loan Trader - Associate OR Vice President

Overview

We are partnering with a global investment bank on a Leveraged Loan Trader hire at either the Associate OR Vice President level. This is a high-impact front-office role offering the opportunity to take ownership of risk, drive revenue generation, and collaborate closely with sales, structuring, and portfolio management teams across EMEA.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished leveraged loan professional, currently operating within a bank or buy-side institution, with a strong track record in secondary loan trading, risk management, and client engagement.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in leveraged loan trading (typically 4-8 years) within a bank or buy-side firm
• Strong knowledge of European leveraged loan markets.
• Demonstrated ability to generate P&L and manage risk effectively
• Established relationships across the institutional credit investor landscape
• Solid analytical capability, with the ability to assess credit fundamentals and relative value opportunities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-oriented mindset
• High levels of commercial judgement, resilience, and accountability.
