Role Overview:
Are you passionate about helping individuals and businesses secure their futures? We are seeking a proactive and experienced Life and Business Protection Consultant to provide expert, client-focused advice on a range of protection solutions. This role involves working closely with SME clients to deliver bespoke life and business insurance recommendations while building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and insurers.

You will be responsible for advising on key protection areas including Key Person Insurance, Shareholder Protection, and Employee Benefits, ensuring all recommendations are compliant with relevant insurance regulations. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, monthly commission, and a pathway to long-term professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on tailored protection solutions such as life insurance, key person cover, shareholder protection, and employee benefits.

Assess client needs and align product recommendations with their business goals and financial circumstances.

Cross-sell protection products to existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers to ensure high service levels and up-to-date market knowledge.

Ensure all activity is conducted in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Develop a strong internal and external reputation as a knowledgeable, trustworthy protection advisor.

Clearly explain complex insurance options and processes in a way that clients can understand and act on confidently.

Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable experience advising on life insurance, business protection, and employee benefits within a commercial or SME environment.

Proven success in client-facing advisory or sales roles with a strong track record in conversion.

In-depth knowledge of the insurance market, products, and regulatory landscape.

Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Minimum qualification: CII Cert R05.

Analytical thinker with a consultative and solutions-focused mindset.

Highly organized, adaptable, and driven to exceed client expectations.
