Lift and Electrical Manager - Engineering & Surveying

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Sutton Housing Partnership who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Lift and Electrical Manager - Engineering & Surveying this role will be based at: SM1 4LE, 2 Days in Office Working, 3 Days Remote Working

The right candidate will:

* Uphold SHP’s values, behaviours and leadership expectations at all times.

* Take responsibility for the operational management and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works programmes and projects.

* Contract manage and monitor service providers delivering M&E repairs, maintenance and servicing contracts.

* Ensure statutory compliance is maintained across all M&E services and activities.

* Audit contractor performance and ensure certification, testing and reporting are accurate and correctly recorded on databases and compliance registers.

* Undertake pre- and post-inspections of works and servicing to monitor quality and ensure contractors meet contract specifications and agreed briefs.

* Develop and prepare technical specifications, tender documentation and procurement requirements.

* Support the Client Manager and Quantity Surveyor with the procurement and appointment of contractors.

* Commission and manage external consultants to deliver projects in accordance with instructions from the Engineering and Compliance Manager.

* Forecast annual budgets and manage monthly cash flow and expenditure within approved financial allocations.

* Monitor project and contract expenditure to ensure budgets are effectively managed and financial targets are achieved.

We require the following:

* Significant experience in managing lift and electrical compliance contracts.

* Significant experience in programme and project management from conception through to completion.
