As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on passenger, goods, and platform lifts.

* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.

* Attend lift breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.

* Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with current legislation and industry standards.

* Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and on time.

* Liaise professionally with customers, site managers, and colleagues.

* Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order.

* Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

* Participate in the on-call rota where applicable.

The ideal candidate:

* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent recognised qualification) – Essential.

* Proven experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing lifts.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Good understanding of current lift regulations and safety standards.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills
