Lift Supervisor – Sizewell C

Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk
Position: Lift Supervisor
Sector: Construction / Nuclear / Major Infrastructure

We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Supervisor to work on a major construction project at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lifting operations on site, ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved lifting plans, RAMS and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate lifting operations on site.

*

Ensure lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with lifting plans.

*

Liaise with Appointed Persons, Crane Supervisors, Site Managers and lifting teams.

*

Brief lifting teams on relevant lifting plans and safe systems of work.

*

Monitor lifting operations and ensure site procedures are followed.

*

Identify and report any safety concerns or changes to lifting conditions.

*

Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Lift Supervisor / Lifting Supervisor.

*

Relevant lifting qualifications and valid CPCS/NPORS certification where applicable.

*

Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects.

*

Good understanding of lifting plans, RAMS and safe systems of work.

*

Strong communication and leadership skills.

*

Ability to work effectively within a busy construction site environment.

*

Sizewell C/site experience would be advantageous.
