Light Vehicle Technical Trainer – Wolverhampton

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + bonus opportunities
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Light Vehicle Technician / Mechanic looking to move away from the workshop?

We are looking for an experienced Light Vehicle professional to become a Technical Trainer, helping train and develop the next generation of vehicle technicians.

No teaching or training experience is required. Full training and support will be provided, including the opportunity to gain a teaching qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll use your industry experience to train apprentices and commercial delegates in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.

Your role will include:

* Delivering practical workshop training

* Delivering classroom-based technical sessions

* Supporting Light Vehicle apprentices

* Assessing learner progress

* Maintaining learner and training records

* Helping apprentices develop their practical and technical skills

What You Need

We're looking for someone with:

* Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent

* Strong hands-on Light Vehicle maintenance and repair experience

* Electrical diagnostics experience

* Knowledge of modern vehicle technology

* Good communication skills

* Enthusiasm for passing your knowledge on to others

* Full UK driving licence

You do not need a teaching qualification or previous teaching experience.
