Job Title: Lighting Technician

Location: Notts and Derby

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

Salary: £37,129.95 Total Salary , Overtime potential, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays), Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts.

To carry out lighting planned maintenance and emergency repair work in ASDA stores to pre-determined standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.

Key Accountabilities:

* To complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.

* To respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.

* To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.

* To order spares to the laid-down procedures.

Qualities/ Experience:

* Recognised electrical qualification

* 18th Edition

* Electrical - Edition Wiring Regulations

* Health & Safety for working on Filling Station lighting (City-delivered course)

Desirable but not essential:

* GCSE standard

* Basic installation and repair of lighting in stores, e.g. cable glands, conduits, track, light density and spread, cable types and loadings

* PC literate

The ideal candidate:

* Full current driving licence

* Degree of flexibility required. Will be required to stay away from home occasionally.

* Willingness to work flexible hours. Night shift may be required
