Job Description - Line Chef

Shark Club UK is seeking a passionate and skilled Line Chef to join our dynamic team. As a Line Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, preparing and cooking delicious dishes for our guests to enjoy. Our ideal candidate is someone who not only brings their culinary expertise to the table but also possesses a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and company standards
Ensure all food preparation and cooking is of high quality and follows food safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Manage and stock inventory of ingredients and cooking supplies
Assist in the development and creation of seasonal menus
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
Follow proper plating and presentation techniques to enhance the overall guest experience
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Line Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Certificate or diploma in culinary arts or related field
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work in a team and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
