Litigated Motor Paralegal

The Role
This is a superb opportunity to join an established law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to both businesses and individuals.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint a paralegal who will be accountable for managing a caseload of litigated small track files and advising on liability and quantum.

The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging experience, including handling litigated cases involving Motor claims for Corporate clients. You will be handling a range of interesting cases, taking witness statements, reviewing medical records, drafting court documents, instructing counsel and considering quantum before negotiating a settlement.

The Candidate
Paralegal / Claims Handler with experience of handling Motor claims
Experience of OIC Portal
Knowledge of the claims process from reporting, through to settlement
Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
Excellent Attention to detail
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
