Litigation Solicitor

Our client is a leading UK law firm looking to recruit a litigation solicitor to deal with a variety of work sourced primarily from insurance sector clients.

Role Overview
The firm is recognised as one of the leading firms focussed on the insurance sector.
The role will see you join the firm’s property and liability litigation team that focusses on property property damage, coverage, product liability and subrogated claims.
This focus of this role is to handle your own caseload and assist the more experienced lawyers in the team on their complex, high value work.

Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a solicitor who can demonstrate:

• Ideally have prior experience in property damage and recoveries work dealing with issues relating to quantum, coverage, liability and case strategy.
• Alternatively someone with a background in litigation work interested in retraining into this area of work would be considered. So long as you have dealt with litigated cases and have a demonstrable knowledge of CPR then you will be considered.
• A background in insurance related work would be helpful, but again candidates without this will be considered.
• Good communication skills as there is often significant interaction with key clients
• Able to work as part of a team.
