Litigation Solicitor – £60,000 to £75,000 (DOE) – Somerset

An established and forward-thinking legal practice in Somerset is looking to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor to support the continued growth of its dispute resolution offering. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic team, handling a broad range of litigation matters with autonomy and progression potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of civil and commercial disputes from pre-action to resolution
• Draft legal documentation including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams and contribute to ongoing departmental development

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in dispute resolution
• Solid working knowledge of litigation processes and Civil Procedure Rules
• Strong drafting, communication, and advocacy skills
• Organised and adaptable, with a client-focused and commercially aware approach

Desirable Experience:

• Background in commercial or property litigation
• Exposure to alternative dispute resolution methods
• Involvement in client relationship management or business development
