Job Description - Litigation Solicitor

Litigation solicitor -Commercial & Civil disputes

Hertfordshire county

This successful and prestigious law firm has won a huge volume of new business.

Due to their reputation in the market, they are the "Go To" firm for Commercial & Civil Litigation cases.

The caseloads are varied and will keep you challenged and interested every day! These include property disputes, commercial litigation cases, contract disputes, partnership disputes, defamation, insolvency and debt recovery.

With several highly renowned partners, the firm is in demand, and there is an opportunity for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to develop a great career away from the high pressures of Big City Law firms.

Requirements

The Property Litigation includes:

• Landlord and Tenant disputes

• Section 8 and Section 21 eviction notices

• Housing, tenancy, and long -leasehold issues

• Recovery of debts, including outstanding rental income

• Possession Claims – residential and commercial property

• Recovery of outstanding service charges

• Inventory reviews and disputes over the condition of the property

• Breach of Covenant

• Claims for disrepair

• Legal / Beneficial Ownership

• Preparation of paperwork for both the County Court and High Court.

• Clients include corporate occupiers, commercial landlords, investors and developers, and residential clients from the UK and overseas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Litigation solicitor with 2 - 6 years' relevant experience to move into a busy, warm desk with lots of business and opportunity and further training.

This is a good quality, well -established firm with great prospects.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor
Proven experience of Civil and Commercial litigation and dispute resolution
Keen to take on a busy and varied workload.
Hungry to succeed and gain promotion
Able to work alone but happy to ask for advice when necessary
