Litigation Solicitor/FCILEx – Up to 5PQE

I’m looking to speak with an experienced commercial litigation solicitor, with at least 2 years’ PQE, to join the Litigation Department of a well-established Legal 500 firm based in Torquay.

Due to an increase in commercial litigation work, the firm are looking for someone who’s confident, commercially aware, and ready to take ownership of their caseload. You should be comfortable working independently but also happy to collaborate with colleagues when needed. Business development is an important part of the role, so if you enjoy building relationships with clients and referrers, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll be handling a varied caseload, including contractual disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence claims, shareholder disputes, and breaches of contract. Ideally, you’ll have experience with mediation, arbitration, and other forms of ADR, as well as representing clients at hearings and settlement discussions. While you’ll be based in Torquay, there will be opportunities to support clients across other offices too.
