Live -In Housekeeper / Nanny in Essex - FILLED

A lovely family in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our household as a Live -In Housekeeper/Nanny. This role will primarily involve housekeeping duties, with approximately 20% of the time spent providing nanny services. Job offers a self -contained 2 -bedroom cottage for accommodation, conveniently located approximately 100 yards from the main house.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

• Perform general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
  
• Launder clothing and linens, including washing, ironing, and changing bedsheets.
  
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of windows and other surfaces inside the house.
  
• Assist with food shopping and meal preparation as needed.
  
• Ensure the overall tidiness and organisation of the home.
  

• Nanny Duties (20%):
  
• Drive children to and from school as required
  
• Provide occasional babysitting for the baby and other children as needed
  
• Assist with the care and supervision of the children, ensuring their safety and well -being
  
• Support the running of the home by helping with various tasks as requested.
  

Additional Details:

• The main house consists of 5 bedrooms and accommodates two adults and a baby that is due at the end of October. 
  
• Additionally, there will be three older children (aged 16, 12, and 8) who will stay in the house 3 -4 nights per week.

• Salary: Â£650 - £750 Gross per annum (DOE)
  
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, between 7am and 6pm, ideally 4 -5hrs in the morning and approx 4 -5hrs in the afternoon. 
  
• Self -contained 2 -bedroom cottage for accommodation, conveniently located approximately 100 yards from the main house.
  
• Car provided while on duty.
