Live -in Nanny (3 days pw) req in Barnet, £50k gpa, October start

We are seeking an exceptional, experienced and highly professional Live-in Nanny to join a lovely family in Barnet, London, caring for two children aged 8 and 3. This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate childcare professional who is highly organised, proactive, discreet and confident working within a fully staffed private household. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ professional nanny experience caring for both toddler and school-age children. They will have a strong understanding of child development, positive discipline and educational support, with the ability to provide a stimulating, structured and nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs. Responsibilities will include managing the children’s daily routines, school and nursery runs, meals, homework, bedtime and activities, as well as planning and facilitating age-appropriate educational, creative and outdoor activities. The nanny will support the children’s emotional, social and educational development, coordinate extracurricular activities, appointments and playdates, and maintain excellent organisation of their bedrooms, wardrobes, belongings and travel items. The role will also involve working closely and professionally with the parents, tutors, teachers, drivers and other household staff, maintaining impeccable standards of discretion, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times. International travel with the family will be required, and the nanny should be comfortable providing seamless care while travelling and adapting to changing schedules and family requirements. Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential. You must hold a paediatric first aid and enhanced DBS check to apply for this role.

The working pattern is 3 days per week working Thursday, Friday and Saturday, typically involving 12–14 hrs per day.

The nanny will generally start when the youngest child wakes at approximately 7am and finish once she is asleep at around 8:30pm.

On Thursdays, the youngest child attends nursery, giving the nanny time after preparing her for nursery to organise the children’s rooms, belongings and activities ahead of their return from school at approximately 4pm. On Fridays, the youngest child is not at nursery, so the nanny will provide full-day care and plan an engaging and stimulating day for her.

Shared room provided whilst on duty.

Salary on offer is £50k gpa depending on experience.
