HOUSE MANAGER / PA – OXFORDSHIRE

Brand new position for a private family in Oxfordshire who are seeking an experienced, highly organised and discreet House Manager / PA to take responsibility for the smooth running of their household and family administration. This is a high-impact role requiring initiative, energy, excellent communication and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day household operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors and household staff, including gardener, chef, nanny, babysitters and cleaner.
  


• Act as the main point of contact for staff, contractors, service providers and visitors, ensuring clear communication and efficient scheduling.
  


• Manage family appointments, diaries, travel arrangements and personal schedules with complete discretion.
  


• Manage household correspondence and administration using Google Workspace, presenting well-researched options, recommendations and itineraries.
  


• Maintain accurate household inventories, budgets, records and supplier information.
  


• Oversee administration relating to the children, including school communications, holiday clubs, childcare arrangements and wardrobes.
  


• Manage family travel from start to finish, including research, booking, itineraries and ongoing support, primarily remotely with occasional travel where required.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a House Manager, Household Manager or PA within a private HNW/UHNW household.
  


• Ideally degree educated.
  


• Strong leadership and staff management skills with a collaborative approach.
  


• Excellent written and spoken English.
  


• Highly computer literate
  


• Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  


• Able to manage multiple priorities calmly, efficiently and professionally.
  


• Must live within easy commuting distance of Oxford/Banbury and be able to work from the estate office 2–3 days per week.
