Job Title: Live-In Care Professional (Male Only)

Location: Weston-super-Mare

Job Type: Full-Time, Live-In

Salary: £129 per day (including food allowance)

We are looking for a responsible, caring, and compassionate male-only live-in care professional to support a gentleman living with CADASIL—a rare form of dementia that affects memory, mood, and cognitive function. This is a rewarding role for an experienced care professional who is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support.

The successful candidate will be motivated, empathetic, and confident using their initiative. A driver is preferred, as this will support greater independence for the client.

Placement Dates:

• Initial placement: 18th August – 29th September 2025
• Second placement: 21st November 2025 – 5th January 2026
• Ongoing: Rota-based care thereafter (details to be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:

• One-on-one support and companionship
• Personal care, mobility assistance, and medication management
• Support with daily routines, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Emotional support through memory loss and mood changes
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to family or healthcare professionals
• Act proactively and independently to meet the client’s needs

Requirements:

• This is a male-only role due to personal care needs
• Live-in care experience is essential
• Previous experience supporting individuals with dementia or neurological conditions
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, CADASIL
• Self-motivated, empathetic, and emotionally resilient
• Excellent communication skills
• Driver preferred
• Right to work in the UK
