Job Description - Live-in House Manager sought for a Manor house near Bath, £60k+ gpa, October start

A lovely client with a large manor property based near Bath is seeking a responsible, discreet, and technically minded Live-in House Manager on a one-year self-employed contract, starting October 2025.

This full-time, live-in role offers private three-bedroom accommodation and is ideal for someone independent and proactive, comfortable managing household systems and property upkeep in a mostly unoccupied estate.

Responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining heating, plumbing, electrical, security, and pool systems; coordinating and supervising contractors; performing light housekeeping; accepting deliveries; and preparing the property for occasional owner or guest visits. The role also involves monitoring estate security, assisting with occasional errands, and acting as the primary point of contact for all property-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estate or household management, strong technical aptitude, discretion, and a full UK driving licence.

Day and hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

You will live on-site to ensure the property remains secure at all times.

This position is best suited to a single individual or couple and offers competitive salary around £60k+ gpa based on experience, with monthly invoicing required.
