We’re hiring Heavy Maintenance Technicians, working on Locomotives in Ipswich . You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and performance as part of one of the UK's leading rail engineering organisations.

As a Locomotive Technician you will be working on a varied shift pattern and will be offered a starting salary £45,500 with opportunities to enhance your salary with training modules worth £1500 each.

If you have transferable Mechanical/Heavy diagnostic skills, we’re interested in you.

You will maintain various types of locomotives in a safety-critical setting. Responsibilities include
ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting maintenance examinations, and leading in the absence of a supervisor.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering and possess strong fault-finding, leadership skills, and an understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
