Social Worker Child in Care (CIC / CLA / LAC) Nottingham

Caritas Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Care (CIC) / Children Looked After (CLA) / Looked After Children (LAC) team with Nottingham City Council.
Role details:

£37.50 per hour Umbrella/Ltd
£27.91 per hour PAYE
37 hours per week
3 days per week in the officeThe successful Social Worker will work within the Children in Care / Child in Care / CIC / Children Looked After / CLA / Looked After Children / LAC service, ensuring children's voices remain central to assessment, planning and decision-making.
Key responsibilities:

Managing Children in Care / Looked After Children cases
Completing assessments and reports for panels and Child in Care Reviews
Progressing children's Care Plans for permanence
Preparing Court reports, including Schedule 21 Reports
Completing Parenting Assessments and statements
Supporting the discharge of Care Orders and DOLs applications
Supporting children and young people who may be at risk of exploitation
Ensuring children's voices are heard and central to decision-making
Applicants must have a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and be willing to travel both within and outside the council area as required.
