As Logistics Analyst you’ll play a key role ensuring intelligent Warehouse / WMS and distribution applications / systems deliver and are continuously improved for a major retailer which is a household name.

Salary:

£51k per annum plus £5,000 shift allowance 42 hours a week (0600-1800-0600) (24x7 operation)

. On-Site in Castle Donnington, Leicestershire.

In this technically advanced warehouse and distribution environment, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the automated distribution centre for a very large well known retailer in an ITIL environment, with the aim of delivering Best Practice.

Based on an established and well-run site, you’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to support and enhance the warehouse management system which includes AI and robotics. You’ll also optimising business / logistics processes and maintaining high standards of performance. From incident and problem management to change coordination, your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing stability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This includes:

Identifying operational issues and driving improvements in system function and performance.
Liaising with customers to find innovative ways to improve processes and efficiency to drive continuous improvement
Leading troubleshooting procedures such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Assessing operational priorities and ensure uptime targets are met within an ITIL environment
Developing operational solutions and determining their impact on the logistics system to ensure SLAs are met
Anticipating operational issues and monitor technical availability and performance.

APPLICANTS
We’d like to hear from you if you have experience of:
Warehousing / WMS and distribution / logistics / supply chain
Worked with intelligent warehouse management applications / WMS and ideally WCS / Warehouse control systems
Working with customers to resolve issues and improve processes
Technical Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, SQL Databases
Some programming capability in Java, OR Python OR, PL/SQL OR C++
Ideally worked in an ITIL environment
