Job Description - Logistics and Customer service Coordinator

We are looking for a confident and hard-working individual to support our small but busy dispatch team in Surrey. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse and for seamless delivery of product to the customer. The role is mostly desk-based but there are hands-on activities that you are likely to perform, such as preparing sample orders for our prospective customers.

A people-person, you will be crucial in organising the warehouse, communicating with customers, and generating invoices and associated admin. You will enjoy interacting with a small team, working closely with sales

Your role will essentially be the following:

  • Oversee stock management, inventory control, and access to the warehouse. Ensure the warehouse is organized and efficient.
  • Picking, packing and shipping parcels.
  • Manage office tasks, filing, and using NetSuite for various administrative functions.
  • Building Customer relationship and customer enquiries
  • Invoicing customers
  • Liaising with couriers and customers around delivery

Skills & requirements

  • A-levels essential. Degree preferred.
  • Proven warehouse experience (not essential)
  • Driver’s licence
  • Forklift Driver’s licence (not essential)
  • Track record of excellent customer service
  • Strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Xcel, PPT and Word
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Strong listening skills
  • Self-starter and able to manage own workload
  • Strong numeracy skills
