We are currently recruiting for a Logistics & Procurement Co-Ordinator to join a busy and growing team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who is comfortable managing logistics, procurement, sales orders and day-to-day communication with clients and couriers.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products are ordered, processed and delivered efficiently, while keeping customers updated and resolving any delivery-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Manage logistics, import and export documentation, ensuring paperwork is accurate and processed efficiently.
Coordinate procurement processes, working closely with management to place product orders with factories and suppliers.
Process and manage sales orders, ensuring orders are accurately entered and followed through to delivery.
Communicate directly with clients, responding to day-to-day queries and providing updates on orders and deliveries.
Track deliveries and liaise with couriers and logistics providers to resolve delays, issues or delivery problems.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all relevant documentation is kept up to date.
Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, factories and customers to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Support the wider team with general administrative and coordination duties where required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with both customers and suppliers.
You will ideally have previous experience within logistics, procurement, sales administration, order processing or a similar coordination role.
Good understanding of import/export documentation.
Experience processing sales or purchase orders.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
The ability to deal confidently with couriers, suppliers and clients.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good IT skills and confidence working with business systems.
Experience using Business Central would be highly advantageous.
Experience with Sage or other accounting/business management software will also be considered.
A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
What We Offer
£35,000 – £40,000 salary, depending on experience.
Permanent position.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Predominantly site-based role.
