Are you a switched on, dedicated Logistics Assistant looking to join a busy team in Brighton? This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations within the logistics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the allocation of work to couriers, monitoring job progress, and maintaining high service levels to meet client expectations.

• Allocate work to couriers in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring optimal distribution of tasks.
• Monitor jobs from allocation through to delivery and completion, ensuring all stages are executed efficiently.
• Ensure all jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales, maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) specific to both clients and the service centre.
• Proactively communicate with clients and team members about any delays or issues to manage expectations effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with all couriers to optimise the working partnership and enhance service delivery.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in service delivery to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience in logistics or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work proactively and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Familiarity with logistics software or transport management systems is a plus.
