Our client, a leading transport & logistics solution provider with exciting plans for future growth is expanding it’s 4 PL logistics team by recruiting a Logistics Broker to be based at offices near Nuneaton.
On Offer: A fantastic opportunity to join a leading transport & logistics solutions provider with exciting plans for future growth Supportive and dynamic management team Competitive salary - c.£37 K plus bonus scheme and great earning potential Regular performance reviews Working hours: 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday Main Purpose: The Logistics Broker / Account Manager will work within a 4 PL operation, providing a one stop management service for client’s transport & logistics needs, by taking care of the process from start through to finish, minimising risk for the client and protecting their services.
Duties & Responsibilities: Working closely with existing customers and subcontractors to enable continued growth.
Maintaining relationships with existing Haulier partners / customers.
Resource / allocate loads on a daily basis achieving best possible margin.
Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and in line with customer expectations Monitor delivery performance and notify customers with any delays.
Work to set targets in line with operational KPI's.
Ensure all information is accurate and up to date within TMS.
To Be Considered: Strong customer service / account management skills Demonstrate good commercial awareness Ideally transport or logistics industry experience, however, other industries will be considered Happy to work in a fast-paced environment Happy to cover on call on a rota basis, 1 week in 6.
