About the Opportunity

We’re working in partnership with a leading UK manufacturer of office and home furniture, renowned for their innovation, quality, and global reach. With a strong presence in both domestic and international markets, they are looking to appoint a Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team based in Newport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for logistics and supply chain coordination to play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products across the UK and worldwide.

The Role

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between production, warehousing, and distribution. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure customer delivery requirements are met, whether that’s direct-to-consumer, large-scale project sites, or international destinations.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Logistics and Project Delivery and be instrumental in optimising transport routes, managing freight costs, and supporting the company’s growing e-commerce strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate UK and international deliveries
• Liaise with transport providers and internal departments to ensure timely dispatch
• Support warehouse operations and optimise load planning
• Monitor freight costs and seek best-value solutions
• Ensure accurate export documentation (training provided)
• Provide logistics data to support KPI tracking
• Assist with e-commerce logistics and customer delivery expectations

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

• A confident communicator, both internally and externally
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable using computer systems (training provided on internal tools)
• Familiar with the US market and exporting to the US

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
• Knowledge of export documentation or e-commerce logistics
• Familiarity with warehouse or production environments
