Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (30-minute break)
Workplace: Office-based only (hybrid/remote not available)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised professional to join our growing team based in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in UK and EU transport, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination to take ownership of high-priority shipments and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery processes.

• Coordinate and manage urgent shipments using road freight, airfreight, and hand-carry courier services

• Handle transport booking, tracking, and customer updates across UK, EU, and global routes

• Provide cost-effective and accurate transport quotations

• Liaise with carriers, freight agents, and logistics suppliers to ensure timely collections and deliveries

• Respond rapidly to line stoppage or production-critical situations

• Accurately input jobs into the transport management system (TMS) and manage shipment documentation

• Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery times, cost, and service

• Collaborate with internal teams in warehouse operations, customer service, and finance

• Ensure files are fully closed with PODs, purchase orders, and relevant references

• Continuously review transport routes and supplier performance for efficiency and cost control

• Previous experience in logistics, transport planning, or freight forwarding (UK/EU or global)

• Strong working knowledge of supply chain operations and third-party logistics (3PL)

• Ability to handle time-sensitive or high-priority deliveries under pressure

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with shipment tracking and job completion

• Proactive and able to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment

• Comfortable using logistics systems and software for job management and updates

• Competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000, depending on experience
