We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics and warehousing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous logistics, transport, warehouse administration, or supply chain experience who is looking for a fast-paced and varied role.

Working within a busy warehouse office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, customer orders, and transport operations while acting as a central point of communication between drivers, customers, suppliers, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries
Booking transport and scheduling deliveries
Monitoring shipment progress and resolving delivery issues
Liaising with customers, suppliers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
Managing customer accounts and maintaining strong relationships
Processing and maintaining accurate logistics documentation
Raising invoices and updating internal systems
Monitoring stock and inventory records
Welcoming drivers on arrival and directing them appropriately
Supporting continuous improvements within logistics operationsKey Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience within logistics, transport, warehouse administration, or supply chain operations
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Experience using logistics, transport, or ERP systems would be advantageous
A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
