Salary: Up to £26,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

We’re recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturer near Chalgrove. This is a hands-on role supporting critical logistics operations across goods in, internal transport, kitting and shipping. It’s an opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, safety-conscious team supporting the production of life-saving technology.

Logistics Operative Duties

• Process pick lists and manually kit explosive and hardware components
  
  
• Operate Kardex storage systems and maintain SAP stock accuracy
  
  
• Book in incoming goods and deliver them to appropriate departments
  
  
• Move assemblies and kits between departments in line with the production plan
  
  
• Palletise, label and prepare shipments including dangerous goods documentation
  
  
• Support the shipping team to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders
  
  

Logistics Operative Profile

• Logistics or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
  
  
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and documentation
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  
  
• Forklift or Manitou licence beneficial (training can be provided)
  
  
• A team player who is proactive and keen to learn
