About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a

Logistics Operator

in our Kerry Team in Menstrie, Co. Clackmannanshire, Scotland.
It is a full-time, permanent position based of a shift work, rotating early (06:00

14:00) and afternoon (14:00

22:00) shifts, Monday to Friday.
Our Kerry site in Menstrie has a manufacturing history dating back over 250 years. The current plant has been largely developed over the last 30 years and is now a highly sophisticated, leading edge semi continuous process plant with high levels of automation, process control and hygienic design standards. We manufacture yeast-based ingredients for a variety of food and cell nutrition applications, as well as being a leading supplier of yeast to the whisky industry.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities of

Logistics Operator

will include:
Moving finished goods, packaging and raw materials to and from production areas and the warehouse.
Operating forklifts and pallet trucks.
Occasional manual handling, the heaviest bags are 25kg.
Conducting visual quality checks of products and materials.
Participating in stock count activities.
Loading and unloading deliveries.
Recording data on SAP, Excel, and paper logs.
Cooperating with other departments on the site.
What do you need to be successful?

HGV Class 2 license - required.
Valid CPC license

required.
Previous experience in warehousing - preferred.
Experience in operating forklift and powered pallet truck.
Excellent attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Good communicator
Good working on their own
Good time management
